FINAL EVALUATION

 TASK 1: ESSAY WRITING

a. The main concepts related to language acquisition and learning.

Human beings have always sought to communicate, and from the earliest age they do so through their own language (babbling, crying, laughing), until they begin to acquire the mother tongue. That's when they acquire the tools they need to communicate effectively. Clearly, over the years the way language is acquired has to see the change in thinking. This is because, first of all, we are immersed in a society with specific cultural peculiarities, and all this is generating changes in our way of conceiving language. In this essay I will reflect on some concepts related to the acquisition of language and how it keeps changing, evolving and reforming throughout the age of the human being and how the teaching process intervenes with this process.

Initially, we must understand that the language is a system of symbols that works to communicate with each other, being a system it must be encoded since the symbols are shared within the language but it has variables according to its intention, according to the purpose, and obviously according to the context. As we already mentioned in the introduction to this essay, context has a lot to do with finding meaning within a sentence. Within what we learned during this course, it has been clearly established that it is not necessary to have gone through an Institute to have a language acquisition. In fact, in a very intuitive way, we discovered what are the shortcomings in the organization of some words or in the use of others. that is, gradually we begin to become aware of whether a word is well said within a sentence, or whether it is simply inadequate for what we are trying to imply. This is why, when we begin our process of learning another language, we begin to understand in a much clearer way how the coding of symbols helps us to advance in a much deeper understanding of language. This is how we acquire new lexicon, we know what the correct order of words is within a sentence, and we know, according to the context, how to organize our language to make ourselves understood according to the public. This is how our language acquisition begins to expand according to the experiences that we are acquiring our environment.

This way of acquiring language is also initially focused on the student, since these experiences, which are going to modify their acquisition of a second language, are also closely linked to the way they learn. This is where it is necessary to remember that there are different learning styles according to the different abilities that the student has, and in addition to this, we must consider the interest in the attention span of each of our students. We must start from the premise that each of our students is a complex world and that although many times they seek to have a sense of equality or equity; children, youth and adults are not the same, not only because of the difference in the ages but because the way of thinking changes according to the previously mentioned variables. It is from here that each of the students also acquire some communication skills that will be closely linked to the need of each of them when communicating. It should be established. For example, as a reality that not all our students think that learning English is something important, since here they believe that depending on the career in which they are going to be oriented they will not use them, because simply the job they are going to obtain is not oriented towards learning a second language. This is where the teacher should try as much as possible to use the methodology and didactics that he finds appropriate to work on these variabilities.

As future teachers we must recognize the abilities, gifts and talents of our students to know the best way to help our students recognize the importance of acquiring a language. The role of the teacher is then, to make the forms of teaching more flexible to the learning styles of each of his students. This is also challenging as it is often difficult to teach one-on-one in a classroom. is when the teacher's role becomes vital in the acquisition of a second language

Task 3 - Language Acquisition

https://view.genial.ly/5fa0c4732354a40d03798a0b/presentation-genially-sin-titulo The critical commentary I will make from what colleague Lendys Naudith Osorio commented on, in which the hypothesis of language acquisition coincides considered that she makes an excellent example from her experience from school in which she says that initially in learning English you do not have a first contact how it is made with the mother tongue. I will buy it with my commentary on the first point because in my case I considered that many of the teachers did not have enough basis or knowledge to teach English. while it is easy to say that all teachers have a pedagogy to teach, we must keep in mind that it is also dependent on the knowledge you have on a subject. therefore, being teachers who do not master the language or who are not native to it, it is very difficult that they can use the right methodology at the time of teaching. it is important to emphasize in turn that the companion talked about
